In this 4th year after George Floyd’s death, we want to share a part of the story you may not have heard. While the rest of America entered a new wave of social justice activism, the Powderhorn community in Minneapolis searched for ways to express their grief, anger, and love.
As the community worked through the healing process, a sculpture arose at the intersection. A metal fist proudly pointed to the sky and became a symbol of racial reckoning across the globe.
