Speed isn't your friend. Process is -- especially when you're an established brand. You have the luxury of time. Everyone knows what McDonald's is and what they offer. That's the difference between a marketing mind and a brand strategy mind. And someone, somewhere is justifying this as an earned media strategy, which from a brand perspective might not be worth the ding to your reputation or the broader strategy of the company. But if that's all the goal was, to get the tweeters out from the cheap seats sharing mcdonalds then goal accomplished.

Oh dear.
