Driving traffic and sales to your products or storefront from a channel off of Amazon?
Make sure you use Amazon Attribution.
Up until Amazon Attribution was launched, there was no way to know how well offsite marketing campaigns were working if we were directing the click back to Amazon.
By using Amazon Attribution, we can generate a custom link that lets Amazon track performance after the click. We can then get conversion metrics from those clicks including detail page views, Add to Carts and purchases.
For instance, if we have an email marketing campaign promoting our hero product, we can now create a unique link back to our storefront of product detail page where we’ll be able to see the number of clicks and how many of those clicks converted to sales.
Along with the reporting benefits, Amazon is now providing an incentive for US sellers to drive traffic from off-site channels.
On average, Amazon will give you a 10% credit for sales originating from offsite sources.
Overall, Amazon Attribution is a great way to gauge performance from offsite marketing channels along with providing a bonus for these sales!
