Got the email every business owner dreads this morning: "Malicious code detected on poipu365.com."

This is one of my clients..

It was followed by "You have 3 days to fix it or the site would be suspended."

Two fake WordPress plugins had been uploaded by hackers to this website.

I used AI and identified the infected files, deleted both plugins, ran security scans, changed all passwords, and got the all-clear from SiteGround in under 30 minutes.

I'm now using a password manager, running daily security scans, and updating everything immediately.

So Google just did the thing they always do, roll out a setting that can completely change your ads without telling anyone about it first.

Buried in the Shared Library under Location Manager in Google ads, there's now an option called "Google Owned Location Data."

When it's turned on (and apparently it IS turned on by default for a lot of accounts), Google can just grab random images from their library and slap them into your ads.

No approval. No heads up. Just Google being Google.

I went and checked my campaigns after reading about this and guess what?

It was CHECKED. Had to manually turn it off.

The very tools meant to save me time…I used them to fill my time with more.

I build ads, design websites, create email promotions, schedule tasks, and optimized the hell out of my calendar.

But if all I did with that is shove in more meetings, more projects, more output...I just built a faster treadmill.

So here’s the truth no one tells you:

The real flex is not being busy.
The real flex is walking away from busy.

Walking away from the screen when the sun is out.
From the social media inbox when your dad calls.
From the to-do list when your girl needs you to just be present.

My value isn't what I produce, it's who I am when the work is done. I just wish I learned this lesson earlier.
