I heard another designer talk about this a few years ago and now it is included in every welcome packet I send out.

➡️ Make your feedback productive.

Productive feedback and clear communication help push the design process further. Remember these 3 areas while you are giving feedback about a project in any area to make sure your ideas are being fully understood.

1. Keep in mind who it is for.
Most projects have an intended viewer or user. Try to set aside personal preferences and view things as the receiver.

2. Be specific.
Rather than just saying "I don't like this" explain or walk through your thoughts. Encourage discussion about what is working and what is not; rather than making broad statements.

3. Ask questions during the process.
Questions are key! Ask questions to make sure you are understanding the process or what the other is trying to communicate. Asking questions at the moment saves time and helps everyone feel confident about their decisions.

As a user, do we love or hate the single page website experience? This is a popular style we are seeing a lot with web design recently.

We created this single page design for Molly & co. with a scrolling gallery to highlight their past work and a contact form to book a consultation. This page needs minimal navigation with all of the information and offers on the landing page.

We are starting a new series next week! 30 brands in 30 days!

Starting on May 17th until June 16th we are creating one new brand a day. Follow along over the next 30 days to see how we develop concepts and build brands for our clients! (but at 2x speed)

📌 So I had this idea… rather than do 30 randomly generated prompts, we want to make your ideas for a business, product, or brand. There is no cost, no sign-ups, and no business needed. Is there something you have always dreamed of doing? Is there a company you wish existed or want to start someday?
