The studio is equipped with two table top platen presses, a Challenge flatbed press, and drawers upon drawers of lead type, wood type and vintage cuts. PETE Community Letterpress is to provide affordable community access and to preserve the art and craft of letterpress printing while supporting our vibrant local arts scene. Bridget, Kaitlin & Lyman have a combined 30 years of experience as instruc

tors. They moved into the shared studio space in 2013, and began their Paper & Pints series, which included live printing demos and visiting artists. A strong passion for education and preservation is what motivated them to open their space as a community studio in the Spring of 2016.

Qu**rs! Zines! Collage! Riso! 🌈

Let’s get into the mood for St. Pete Pride weekend with a Q***r Zine workshop on Wednesday, June 24th from 6pm to 8pm!

Get a friendly introduction to zines and RISO printing while we work collaboratively on a one-sheet q***r zine (folded into 8 pages).

Everyone will create a page using analog materials like collage, illustration, and text. Then we’ll print them together using the RISO duplicator, and everyone will take home copies to keep and share!

$35/person, all supplies included.

Join us for a hands-on printmaking class using LEGO to create bold, colorful designs.

Instructor .southern will share her tips and tricks for this playful printmaking technique. You’ll learn how to print using a , as well as techniques for printing without a press at home.

No experience needed — just bring your creativity and get ready to experiment!
