"Oh the places we'll go"...
We beat our goal of $120,000! We have the best people supporting ! Our 2026 Event raised $135,000! The amount of gratitude we have for all of this caring support goes way beyond what any words can express.

In sharing this news with my (Rochelle's) infusion nurse today, I was telling her that I was so surprised by this because so many people are financially struggling. She said, "People still love to give to a good cause." She must be right; we are seriously blown away!

And on top of this, we had incredible volunteers who made the event run smoothly. We couldn't have done it without them. We appreciate our volunteers for sharing their gift of time and talents with !

What an incredible weekend at the Purple Playas Golf Tournament & Par-Tee at TPC Tampa Bay ⛳💜

Two days filled with golf, laughter, sunshine (and definitely some sweating!), all in support of a mission that truly matters: helping families of children living with chronic illnesses.

From providing gas cards to help families get to critical doctor appointments, to grocery assistance, to scholarships that help students continue their education despite the challenges of traditional school schedules, Purple Playas Foundation continues to make a meaningful impact where it’s needed most.

What makes this organization especially powerful is that it is fueled by volunteers and people who truly understand these challenges firsthand. Their compassion, dedication, and heart are what make events like this so special.
