Yeah, I'm going to have to figure this out. There is probably a different way to let everyone know, but here it is for now:
I must let all my great Northern friends know I will be in Erie, PA, hosting a meet-and-greet on July 25 at 5:30 p.m. until we finish.
I am coming to Erie to celebrate the Iroquois 45-year reunion - class of 79.
I moved from Erie two years ago after my David Burney passed away, and many friends want to connect with me and see what I am up to. I do not have the time to meet with everyone individually on this trip, so I am hosting a meet-and-greet.
A BIG HEY to all my friends from Lawrence Park!
This FREE event is open to anyone who knows me and anyone from the Iroquois Class of 79 who may or may not remember me. My name is Kim Hardin Burney. I married my high school sweetheart, David Burney, and lived most of my life in Erie.
The meet-and-greet details are as follows:
Thursday, July 25, 2024 - 314 E 11th St, Erie, PA 16503
right in the middle of downtown Erie!
5:30 pm - we finish.
Agenda:
5:30 - 6:30 pm Meet up and Visit
6:30 - 7:00 Kim will share her ventures of the last two years and what the future looks like, and she will spend 5 minutes finally having a memorial for David.
Afterward, the floor will be open if others would like to add a few comments about others from the class of 79 who have passed.
7:15 until... we will host local talent, and food is available.
FOOD - I will have finger foods and provide drinks (non-alcoholic)
Since it has been suggested we make this a community event, I would love it if you bring your favorite cookies, dessert, salad, or food. Not required - the purpose is to connect, not eat, but most of the meaningful events in history (Bible) include a meal - I say, let's bring 5 loaves and two fishes and see what happens!
