You Can't Learn AI By Asking AI What It Can Do

"Just ask AI what it can do" isn't a foolproof plan.

Here's why.

AI will sometimes make stuff up. You won't know what's real and what's hallucination until you've wasted time going down dead ends.

Think about it like this: You rode a bike as a kid. Maybe a go-cart or golf cart. But when it came time to drive a car, you still needed to learn, right?

You were technically capable of figuring it out on your own. But why would you?

An AI consultant speeds up that process. They've already been through it. They know where NOT to spend your time. They can tell you what's a dead end before you waste weeks going down the wrong path.

You can learn AI tools on your own. But you'll learn faster and better from someone who's already done it.

That's the value.

Stop Trying To Build Everything At Once

Here's how you should actually implement AI agents in your business:

Pick ONE use case.
Pick ONE deliverable you're trying to impact.
Build a solution for it.
Test it until it works.

Then move to the next one.

Repeat this process for each workflow you want to automate.

Once you have 3-4 tested solutions that actually work, THEN you can wrap them together. That's when you go to something like OpenAI and say "Here are all these skills. Here are all these workflows. You do this now."

But don't skip the testing phase.

Make sure each piece is tight and proven before you move on.

Most people fail with AI agents because they try to automate everything at once. They build this massive system that doesn't work.

Start small. Prove it works. Scale from there.

What's one workflow in your business you could start testing today?

The Feature That Makes Every Brand Asset Match

Claude's design system feature is a game changer for brand consistency.

Here's how I'm using it:

I'm rebuilding our website right now, and I've created a complete design system, all the styles, themes, sections, templates, layouts, everything.

I uploaded it to Claude.

Now when I need to create a lead magnet, a one-pager, a handout, a presentation deck, or a proposal, I just tell Claude: "Use my design system and create this."

Every single asset matches.

My website looks the same as my proposals. My proposals match my social videos. My social graphics all follow the same brand language.

Before this, keeping everything consistent was a nightmare. You'd have to manually check fonts, colors, spacing, and it took forever.

Now? It's automatic.

If you're running a business or handling marketing for clients, this is the kind of tool that saves you hours every single week while making your brand look 10x more professional.

Have you tried Claude's design system feature yet?

You Do Not Need To Be Technical To Start Automating

You don't need to be technical to start automating your work.

ChatGPT and Claude both connect to Make.com and n8n now.

Here's what to do:

Think about the tasks you do every day that are repetitive but don't need much thinking. Not just "yes or no" stuff, things with a little nuance but still pretty straightforward.

Write down exactly how you do that task, step-by-step.

Then tell ChatGPT or Claude: "Here's my process. Ask me whatever you need to understand it fully. Help me build this as an automation in Make.com."

That's it.

This is the easiest win if you're not using AI for your business yet.

What's one task you could automate this week?

The most profitable businesses aren't sexy.

They're plumbing companies.
Toilet rental services.
Dumpster businesses.

Things people actually need.

AI automation is the same way.

The automations that make real money? They're not flashy. They're solving boring problems that businesses deal with every single day.

You're not building some sci-fi AI assistant.

You're automating invoice follow-ups. You're building systems that sort through customer emails. You're creating workflows that save someone 10 hours a week on data entry.

Not exciting. But incredibly valuable.

I'll take boring and profitable over flashy and theoretical every single time.

Because the "boring" stuff pays the bills. The "boring" stuff scales. The "boring" stuff is what businesses will actually pay you for.

Stop chasing what looks cool and start building what solves real problems.

That's where the money is.

What's one "boring" problem you could solve with AI in your business?

You're At The Start Line, They're At The 90 Meter Mark

If you're just now getting into AI as a business owner, you should feel some pressure.

Because here's the reality: You're at the start line while others are at the 90-meter mark.

They've already learned from their failures. They've figured out what works through trial and error. And you haven't even started yet.

But here's the good news: You don't have to make those same expensive mistakes.

This is exactly why AI consultants exist. We can show you what works, what doesn't, and save you a ton of money in the process.

You can either spend the next year figuring it out yourself, or you can get expert guidance and catch up fast.

What's your move?

You Can Be Pro AI And Against Data Centers

I'm an AI proponent. You all know that.

But I do NOT want data centers polluting natural resources or affecting people's health with excessive noise levels.

We're in this weird spot where everyone thinks you have to pick a side. Either you're all in on AI acceleration or you're against progress entirely.

That's not how this works.

We can build the infrastructure AI needs AND do it responsibly.

The tech already exists:
- Closed loop systems that don't use fresh water
- Warm water cooling methods
- Better site selection for remote placement

We just need companies to prioritize these solutions instead of racing to build capacity as fast as possible.

AI is going to scale. These companies aren't slowing down. We all know that.

So the question becomes: how do we build responsibly?

As much as I talk about AI's potential, I think this conversation needs to be front and center. We need more capacity, but we need to do it right.

What's your take? Can we balance rapid AI growth with environmental responsibility?

Your AI Images Are Giving You Away

Your AI-generated images are giving you away.

I keep seeing the same thing on my Facebook feed. Outdoor music festivals, jamborees, big trucks. All running the exact same AI template. Same grunge graphics. It's a dead giveaway.

If you're using AI for your brand images, the first job is not looking like everyone else in your industry.

Here's how:

Step 1: Identify what the default “AI look” is for your industry. Pay attention to what reads as obviously AI-generated in your feed.

Step 2: Find a set of images that represent the style you actually want instead.

Step 3: Upload those images to ChatGPT or Gemini and ask it to reverse engineer the style. Tell it: “Break this down. I want to understand what makes up the character of these images.”

Step 4: Take that breakdown and layer your brand onto it. Your colors, your fonts, your logos, your visual identity.

Step 5: Use that customized prompt to generate brand images that look like they belong to you, not to a template.

AI is supposed to help you create faster, not make you look like everyone else.

Have you tried this yet?

08/31/2026

AI is going to take every job.

I hear this all the time.

And honestly? I don't want that either.

But here's what I do want. AI should handle the mundane parts of your job so you can focus on what actually matters.

Instead of pulling together everything from the six different meetings you had this week just to build a list for your project management system, a task one of the AI models can do in about five minutes, you should be:

In front of your customers
Building relationships with your peers
Growing your business
Actually thinking

Business owners, this next part is for you.

When AI saves your team time, do not take that time back and pile more work on them. We don't teach that.

Give people their time back. Give them freedom and autonomy.

Because a happy employee who isn't buried in manual work is the one who comes up with better ways to improve your business and serve your customers.

Let me teach you how to actually save money on AI subscriptions.

The problem: as these models get smarter, they use dramatically more compute. So companies limit your usage to control costs. Your dollar doesn't stretch as far as it used to.

The mistake: people run everything on the highest intelligence setting. Then they wonder why their limit is gone in an hour.

The solution: match your model to your task.

Writing a social post or a blog post? Haiku 4.5.
Analyzing data or normal day to day work? Sonnet 5.
Complex reasoning, heavy coding, multi-step automation? That's when you pull out Opus 5 or Fable 5.

Ask the top tier model to write one simple blog post and you can burn your entire session limit in a single prompt. You just torched the whole five hour window for something a small model would have handled fine.

You don't need to drive a Ferrari to the grocery store.

If you want more on AI and AI automation, give me a follow. Education is all I do on this channel.
