Through hyper-local, resident driven content and events we create an avenue for our readers to get to know local organizations, businesses and their neighbors on a more personal and social level. Along with our print medium, we also provide digital avenues on which our residents can connect.

So, why the new name?

We’re excited to share that we’re growing! As we begin franchising and expanding outside of Texas, we ran into a trademark issue with The Dog Spot name. Rather than letting that slow us down, we decided it was the perfect opportunity for a fresh new name that reflects who we are and where we’re headed.

The Dog Spot is becoming PAW RETREAT! 🎉

Over the next few weeks, you’ll start seeing our new name, new logo, new signs and a fresh new look—but behind it all are the same familiar faces you already know and trust.
