My daughter looks at me today and completely serious says:

“Mom, I can’t wait to go to the eye dentist.”

👁️🦷

She immediately caught herself.

“I mean the EYE DOCTOR!” 😂

Meanwhile, I’m stuck on the horrifying mental image she just gave me.

Absolutely NOT. 😭

Can you imagine sitting down and they’re like, “Okay, open wide…” except IT’S YOUR EYEBALL?!

Here comes the drill. 👁️🦷🛠️

Nope. Appointment canceled. I’ll just be blind. 😂

Kids really do just casually say things that permanently alter your brain chemistry.

Apparently part of building everything else means I should probably remember to build me too. 😂💗

So I finally put all of my exercise, walking, strength, nutrition, and “please stop expecting perfection from yourself” plans into ONE routine I can actually follow.

The biggest thing I’m trying to learn: a bad day doesn’t have to become a quit day.

Some days might be 60+ minutes and I absolutely kill it. 💪
Some days might be 20 minutes because life is chaos.
And some days the accomplishment might simply be that I moved at all.

Between homeschooling, parenting, building the Asylum, and approximately 47 other things happening at any given moment, I need something that works with my life instead of requiring my life to revolve around it. 😂

I’m also doing this while dealing with PCOS/PMOS, which has made weight loss and figuring out what works for my body its own adventure. So I’m trying to focus less on how quickly I can change and more on becoming stronger, healthier, and more consistent.

I’m sure there will be great weeks, terrible weeks, plateaus, victories, and plenty of “I absolutely do not want to do this today” days. 😂 But they’re all going to be part of it.

So… here goes.

Strong body. Confident me.
Progress, not perfection. 💗
