This Memorial Day, we honor them all. 🇺🇸
From the roar of the and cutting through the sky at the , to the breathtaking sight of an F-35 climbing toward the heavens — every pass, every formation is a tribute to the brave souls who made that freedom possible”.
And speaking of bravery — there’s something about watching retired U.S. Army veteran and former Green Beret James “Guido” Davis descend from the sky, carrying a massive American flag into the arena, that stops you in your tracks. That’s not just a performance. That’s a man who served this country still finding ways to honor it. 🪂🇺🇸
We’ve had the privilege of being on the tarmac, in the arena, and on the streets of our community — camera in hand — to capture these moments. Because some stories deserve to be told.
We honor the men and women who still stand in uniform today, hands clasped around a flag, ready to serve. We honor the leaders who wear their ribbons with pride and carry their community on their shoulders.
We honor our friend — a veteran, a pillar of the Monterey County Veterans Day Parade, and a man who never stopped showing up for his fellow brothers and sisters in service.
And we honor David G. Perez — a World War II Veteran, 1941–1945. A man who lived through history so that we never had to. Though he has since passed, his smile, his service, and his legacy live on in the hearts of this community forever.
Rest easy, Mr. Perez. Your mission is complete. 🕊️
