Bellefonte is closing their Brandywine location at the end of the month. They’re consolidating their operations to their location off Newport Road.

Surprise! The boys are back! 302BrewView & Co. are heading to the Good Beer Festival at Pemberton Park in Salisbury, MD. Delmarva Craft Beer is well represented at this event, as well as some nationals brands. We may go live on location and catch up on some news that we missed out on reporting in 2024. We’ll be out Friday night, October 18th. Will you be there?

Woah! This came out of left field. Brimming Horn Meadery has announced they will soon be brewing beer. Their beer brewing operations will be known as Bear Cult Brewing.

Jon Talkington is a founder for Brimming Horn. He was the head brewer at Dogfish Head for 15 years. This isn't unfamiliar territory. And to have that kind of tenure with DFH, I have a feeling Bear Cult will have some interesting brews out to try.

This adds another stop for beer on the Lewes Georgetown Trail. Also, a craft beer location in Seaford, down the street from , who will be opening this year.

What do you think about this news? This is a part of a trend where we're seeing other alcohol makers go into brewing. (Feebs Distilling in Milford and Beach Time Distilling in Lewes). Sounds like beer is where the money is.

Met up with .beers.usa at Revelation Georgetown a couple days ago. These guys are locals who are documenting a cross country journey to try as many Craft Breweries as possible! They are currently at 970 locations, just 30 shy of one thousand! Give these guys a follow and watch them as they hit the big milestone! Thanks for sharing Liberty Risk, we'll do a tasting of it soon.

Stopped up to last night for a cold one and for the Burger Night special. The burger and fries were delicious! I'm sorry I forgot to snap a pic. My wife wouldn't stop raving about how good the fries are.

I had the Truth in the Juice IPA, a 5% ABV brew. 4 out of 5. Citrusy, Juicy, and a very approachable IPA. Not to mention, Gluten Free.

Snuck into for a couple Friday Brews! Thompson Island IPA and Game Time Americe DIPA were both really good IPAs with great hop flavor. And a nice beer garden. I'm staying warm by the fire.

Happy Monday! We are bummed we didn't make it out to any of the various beer festivals last month. But we will be at Analog this Saturday from 12PM-4PM. There will be many different beers and spirits to try. Dogfish always does a great job with these types of events. There will also be various merchants selling crafts, art, and vinyl records, to name a few. There will be a few food vendors, too. There still may be some tickets left if you wanna join in on the fun. Let us know if you'll be there. We'd love to meet up.

302 Brewview got together this past weekend for a couple of drinks. First up, L'Allegro, a Belgian Strong Golden Ale from Dogfish with Pink Peppercorns, this one was okay. A little too peppery for my liking.

Next, Beer Can Chicken, brewed by Torch and Crown from NYC in collaboration with Perdue Farms. This Summer Ale was better than I was anticipating. Containing honey, lemon and orange puree, citra hops, rosemary, thyme, sea salt, and pink peppercorn. This one was very citrusy and refreshing and apparently really good to use for beer can chicken.

Lastly, something we've been saving for a long time. Beach Juice. Our last 3rd Wave Brew. It was tasty and just beginning to lose its luster. But it held its flavor for a long time. A farewell to one of our favorite breweries that we miss dearly.

First time going to Tall Tales since they stopped brewing (which makes me sad). Had a good time there with a decent size tap list. Wood fired wings and pizza were amazing as usual, however it tastes like they have a new cheese on the pizza that I am not to big of a fan of.

Yesterday after work, I was able to stop in at Big Oyster Brewery in Lewes. Our friends at Porch Beers USA collabed with Big Oyster Brewery, and the USS Delaware Submarine Association to create Liberty Risk. Liberty Risk is a nod to the sailors of the USS Delaware SSN 791. This beer is a beautiful collision of an IPA and a Lager. It has an amazing citrusy hop flavor with the clean smooth taste of a lager. At 5% ABV, you can crush a few of these. Be sure to keep an eye out for it if you're in the area, it's only on draft at the brewery.

Went to Dogfish Head Craft Brewery in Milton, DE, yesterday for their Vintage and Vinyl event. Every first Thursday of the month from 4:30-6:30PM, they'll pull out vintage bottles and pour flights of them. It's a convenient and affordable way to try some classic dogfish they don't make anymore! Not to mention they're spinning vinyls too. Old school music and old school brews.
