STS is on the hunt for a conceptually-led, design-oriented Interactive Designer to mentor, wrangle, and lead our creating digital marketing team. You will be responsible for the overall creative direction on all things digital. You will work on multiple accounts at a time, come up with your own ideas that will serve our clients needs and oversee the production of the assignment. It needs to be part sick and tight.We’re looking for someone who eats, breathes and sleeps design and can play nicely with copywriters, UX designers, our development team, and internal and external project/account managers.
- Potential candidates must:
- Be collaborative
- Be able and willing to mentor junior talent
- Be ready to build trusting relationships with current and potential clients
- Serve as creative lead on all phases of digital work
- Oversee design layouts, navigation, images, icons, multimedia and motion design elements.
- Participate in Interactive design, print design and motion design duties done in collaboration with other teams.
- Be Confident with assisting in business efforts and new business leads
- 4+ years of experience designing and/or leading interactive projects and guiding teams to develop creative executions
- Have a solid knowledge of interactive design trends while maintaining best practices
- Have Experience managing creative development with proven mentoring, supervisory and team-building skills
- Possess the ability to present both positive and negative feedback loops
- Have top-notch presentation skills
- Have the ability to build trusting relationships both internally and with clients
- A laid back yet ‘get-sh*t-done’ attitude

One of the greatest travesties of this summer has been the lack of Carnivals — the bustling of seaside boardwalks and traveling freak shows. Lucky for us Midway Coffee & Donuts want to bring this experience to a place near you, and as you can see we had a rad time collaborating with them on their brand identity. The bearded lady, a strong man, and all the sign-painter inspired type you could ever lay your eyes on all in one spot, and while you are at it gobble up that donut. STS pro tip... ask for your coffee black and see what's in store for you. Might just put some hair on your chin.•
