Last fall, we had the opportunity to photograph the beautiful homes built by at the members-only community in Armenia, NY. The autumnal light and foliage gave us so much to work with. Our concept was to create a lookbook that highlighted Stoneleaf Construction’s specialty; architecture in balance with its natural environment. We paired the beautiful photography by with quotes that evoke the values of Stoneleaf: Calm, Committed, Connected...

Milton Glaser passed away yesterday. An icon of graphic design, he was probably the most famous living designer in the world. Best known for the I [heart] NY logo, New York Magazine, the Bob Dylan poster and a million others. But he was also a teacher. To hundreds. Thousands. And me, while I was at The School of Visual Arts. At first we treated him with reverence for the icon he was, but once we got to know him we were treated to the kind, still-learning, and sometimes grumpy gentleman that he was. I still prefer his definition of Design = Intent; that Less is NOT More, but Just Right is More; and how critical it is to have an open mind to ideas and possibilities.

But it was in those 1-on-1 moments I had with him as my thesis advisor that I consider some of the greatest treasures of my education and development. Sweet. Brilliant. Open. Generous. I’m a better designer because of him. I’m a better teacher because of him. His influence on design is immense. His impact on me is immeasurable. Thank you, Milton. RIP.

We’re excited to announce the launch of the new website we designed for Faith Counts, an interfaith coalition that illuminates the value of faith in society. We were asked to create a hub where users could share and receive messages of faith.

We sought to create a platform for interactivity and inspiration through simple and clean design, optimized for mobile users. The search feature allows the user to view results for their query by medium: podcasts, videos, articles, and other shareable content.
