A moment of stillness for your Sunday ✨

One of my favorite designers and I were laughing this week over our shared love of even numbers, and it had me reminiscing on how OCD used to be my biggest pain point as a designer and is now, quite possibly, my biggest super power.

I used to suffer from absolutely crippling perfection paralysis. It took years and years of therapy and hard work healing old habits, but I've come to really understand just how much perfectionism is creativity's biggest downfall.

Taking time to define the difference between "good" and "perfect" was the most powerful exercise I ever did as an artist.

Want to know the kicker? Perfect does not exist.

But goodness is real. It is a tangible product of hard work and collaboration and empathy and communication. It it the foundation of brands that evolve and respond and grow, knowing exactly where their roots sit below them.

If perfectionism is a trap that tends to find you, I hope you can remember this with me: goodness is the only thing that grows 🌿

OH HI THERE! So fancy meeting y'all here for the first time in *checks notes* ... almost two years 😬. I have been heads-down in the corporate world at DIME Beauty, and while I loved every moment of it and could sing my team's praises for eternity, I'm finally choosing to chase my creativity and my joy by going full-send with my beloved back-burner-no-more, Salt & Sunrise Studio.

I have 10+ years of experience up my sleeve leading highly successful campaign creative for major brands, bringing dream branding to life for blooming businesses, and crafting iconic websites that become your doting brand community's second home.

My own website will be off finding herself for another few days, but you can still find me there in the meantime — I'm currently booking projects and a select number of retainer clients for this summer and beyond!
