At the end of a project I usually only share the finished, approved results and tend to skip over the process. Here are some of the unused concepts from a recent logo project! I think the client chose the right direction, though I really liked all of them. Except maybe that third one. Any ideas why? 🦠 😂

My Solar Realty is a realty company in Arizona that focuses on selling solar homes. They bring a unique expertise that allows solar home owners to sell their homes for what it's really worth.⁣

This is the logo and a few assets I designed for their brand! This was a really fun project.⁣

The logo mark symbolizes a sun and solar panels. The panel shapes also look like a rooftop!⁣

The two colors we selected I've dubbed 'Solar Yellow' and 'Realty Blue". I think they work really well together while also highlighting the two sides of their knowledge. On the flyer on the last image you might be able to see a Venn diagram that also illustrates the idea.

A logo I made for an Arizona-based car rental company last year. This one is pretty simple but it ended up working great.⁣

We decided to stay away from literal car imagery and opted for a stylish wordmark wrapped in a rounded rectangle. The lettering captures the brand's worry-free attitude while the frame symbolizes a rental tag or a stamp of approval.⁣

The brand's primary color is a dark blue with red highlights to add some visual interest.⁣

Haven't posted in a while! I guess I've felt like I shouldn't start again until I'm committed to being consistent. But then I realized... who cares 😅 I've been working on some stuff and wanted to share it!

This is a logo project I designed for a startup called Good@ (pronounced gouda—yes, like the cheese). It's an app that compiles multiple debt reduction calculators and resources into one place. They wanted to appear approachable and fun, something most might not associate with financial planning.

I'm pretty happy with this one! What do you think of it?

CR Power is a solar company based in the Phoenix metropolitan area. Their target audience is middle-class home owners who aren't familiar with solar energy but are willing to try it.

The final mark incorporates the shape of a house into the silhouette of a rising sun. It's a strong symbol that works well on its own or paired with the wordmark.

As partners of Titan Solar Power, CR Power's logo will often be seen alongside theirs. I kept this in mind during the project to ensure nothing clashed and that each brand was properly represented.

This project was a lot of fun and I'm happy with how it turned out! What do you think?

The Glasgow Exhibition is a fictional art exhibition held in Glasgow, Scotland. I actually designed the mark during my "G" explorations I did last month! I thought it was cool enough to expand into a full brand.

The logo uses geometric shapes to form an abstract letter G. I used the shapes in the logo as brand elements on the billboard and used mockups to show how it would look in different applications.

This one was tricky! This was a good exercise to help stretch my creative muscles. They're not meant to be perfect, but I think they came out pretty cool.⁣
