We issued a reflector folding challenge at Mix It Up Media… it did not go as planned for everyone. 😅
Some of us are pros. Some of us are still in negotiations with the reflector. You know who you are.

You don’t have to have it all figured out to start. You just have to start.
Eight years ago I didn’t have the perfect gear, the perfect studio, or a clear roadmap for what this was going to become. What I had was a belief that the stories happening in West Texas deserved to be told well — and the willingness to show up before I felt ready. The clients came. The team grew. The studio got built. None of it looked the way I planned it. All of it was worth it.
That’s the same thing I tell the organizations we work with. The bank that’s been serving this community for decades but has never put that story on camera. The nonprofit doing essential work that the people who fund it have never actually seen. The church whose congregation would move mountains for a first-time visitor — if that visitor could just feel it before they walked in the door. You don’t need a perfect plan. You need someone who knows how to find the story that’s already there and put it on a screen where it can do real work.
