Who says signage is only typesetting?

We love projects that let us blur the line between signage, graphics, and art.

Spanning two stories, this dramatic art installation was our finishing touch at the new UTSA College of AI, Cyber and Computing in downtown San Antonio.

The finished piece is actually a collage constructed from 20 individual acrylic panels, each wrapped with canvas-textured vinyl and carefully aligned during installation to create one seamless, oversized work of art.

Printed in-house on our HP Latex 800W, the artwork came to life with incredibly rich color, depth, and vibrancy—even at this scale.

From fabrication and printing to the final installation, this one was a great reminder of what we enjoy most about our work: taking a creative concept and figuring out how to make it real.

And yes… one of our installers sitting underneath is there for scale. 😄

The San Antonio Food Bank unveiled their new Volunteer Engagement Center with a ribbon-cutting ceremony this week. The Engrave-Tech team came in clutch to get some last minute environmental graphics fabricated and installed in time for the celebration.

✨ New Core Values Sign! ✨

We’re excited to unveil our newest team-focused sign built for Xerxes/Mattr: a custom-built Core Values display made from magnetic-receptive SCM, finished with matte digital-print vinyl, a
painted acrylic panel, and dimensional matte white acrylic lettering for a clean, modern impact.

What really makes this piece special is its function. The magnetic-receptive surface transforms the board into an interactive space where the client can highlight upcoming events, celebrate employee achievements, and showcase company wins in real time.

Celebrating our work anniversaries over the last quarter! This is one of our favorite traditions where we celebrate the accomplishments of each our staff members and they get a chance to relay their “best day” and “worst day” from the prior year. Always a little humorous (and telling from a leadership standpoint)! Congratulations Mykail Gonzales, Rhobyn Brantley, and Nichole Cardella! You are each an important part of our team and we are so thankful for your efforts and dedication to our mission!

Who’s ready to rumble??? Look at Jazz Holland’s vinyl creation announcing the WWE event at the Alamodome this weekend. That’s one of three 40’ x 20’ graphics produced at Engrave-Tech (single-handedly by Jazz!) and then installed by the lovely and talented Sam Joiner. I feel like their faces should be up there too - these guys are beasts!

The Engrave-Tech team welcomes our newest class of rookies to the 1 year anniversary table!

Katie has excelled using her Architecture degree in helping us polish our detailed sign submittal drawings with location mapping. She has also aided our production team by developing a new system for production files and has even stepped in to assist production with fabrication. We love her boisterous spirit and are so happy to have her with us (and boss/momma is over the moon to get to work with her beautiful daughter).

Chris has quickly become an integral member of our production team. His engineering background allows for creative problem solving and he has mastered our CNC and laser equipment (even stepping up to provide maintenance support and troubleshooting). Chris perfects our team with his cheerful demeanor and willing attitude.

Watch out for big things from Engrave-Tech in 2023. When you have a team of people who love what they do and enjoy their teammates, there’s really no limit to what can be accomplished! 🙌🏻
