André 3000 said "being Black is a creative act" and there really is no better way to put it. In honor of Black Music Month — jazz, blues, rock and roll, country, hip hop, R&B, house, techno, trap, afrobeats, and so much more. Genres that didn't just change music, they changed everything: language, fashion, politics, how people move, how people feel, what people believe is possible.

Black creativity isn't a contribution to culture. It *is* culture.
