April is the Month of the Military Child 💜

As a military child myself, this one hits a little deeper.

I know what it’s like to pack up your life into boxes, to say goodbye to friends who felt like family, and to walk into a brand-new school hoping someone says hello. I know what it means to grow up a little faster, to adapt a little quicker, and to love people even when you know they may not be in your life forever.

This month, we honor the quiet strength of the littlest heroes in our military families — the children.

They move more times before kindergarten than some do in a lifetime. They learn resilience before they even know the word. And somehow, no matter where they land, they find a way to bloom again.

That kind of strength? It stays with you forever.

To every military child — past and present: I see you, I am you, and I celebrate your courage, your adaptability, and your unshakable strength.
