Laura Infante: Circular Fashion Connection

Laura Infante: Circular Fashion Connection Hi, my name is Laura and I empower women to grow their confidence through style and color. I want to empower women to OWN that conversation.

What we wear speaks volumes about how we view ourselves and how others view us.

Most women think they have no style.

But that’s rarely true.

What’s actually happening is this:

The outfit doesn’t match the moment.

That’s what style volume is,
learning to read what your clothes are communicating, and matching that to the places and people in your life.

When you understand yours, you stop second-guessing yourself every time you get dressed.

There’s real relief in knowing:
how polished to be,
how relaxed to be,
how to show up at the right volume for where you’re going.

Most women were taught how to shop.
Not how to read what an outfit is actually communicating.

That’s the difference.

Do you know what volume you’re naturally dressing at?

Drop a 🤍 if you’ve been playing it too safe, or 🔥 if you’re still figuring out your sweet spot.

I came to Dallas expecting to talk about style.

Instead, I spent the last few days talking about visibility, confidence, caregiving, leadership, identity, AI, menopause, reinvention, and the emotional weight so many women carry.

It sounded a lot like the conversations I have with my clients.

Because getting dressed is rarely just about clothes.

It’s about how a woman wants to feel when she walks into the room.

It’s about trying to stay visible while navigating changing bodies, changing roles, comparison, pressure, and responsibility.

No wonder so many women stand in front of a full closet and think:

“I have nothing to wear.”

They’re not lacking clothes. They are seeking relief.

One of my biggest takeaways from Hue & Stripe was this:

AI may change fashion.
Trends will continue to change.
Retail will continue to evolve.

But women will always need someone who can truly see them, listen to them, and help them reconnect to themselves.

That part matters more than ever. 💜

Can I tell you something?

Most of us were taught how to shop.

Not how to decide what actually works for us.

So when an outfit doesn’t feel right, we assume we need something new.

Another top.
Another pair of jeans.
Another purchase.

Meanwhile, nobody taught us how to evaluate an outfit.

How to recognize shape.
Balance.
Proportion.

Why something works on one woman and not another.

So we keep buying, hoping the next thing will be the answer.

I know because I did it too.

The biggest shift in my style wasn’t buying better clothes.

It was learning how to make better decisions.

That’s the skill I wish every woman had.

One of my clients sent me this after we worked together.

The husband comment made me smile. 😊

But this stuck with me:

“Thank you for giving this girl her groove back.” 💜

Here’s what I know:

Most women were taught how to buy clothes.

They were never taught how to build a workable wardrobe.

When you understand what flatters you, how to create outfits, and how your pieces work together, getting dressed becomes easier.

And sometimes that ease changes more than your wardrobe. ❤️

A lot of women come to me saying:

“I just want to hide my stomach.”

And honestly?
I’ve said the same thing to myself.

Some days my body doesn’t cooperate. What fits in the morning doesn’t fit by afternoon.

Welcome to midlife.

So if you’ve been reaching for oversized tops, or shapeless layers, I see you.

Because I’ve been there too.

What I’ve learned, both personally and professionally, is that the clothes we choose to hide our bodies can end up hiding something else:

Our shape.
Our presence.
Our confidence.

This isn’t about wearing a smaller size.

And it’s definitely not about squeezing into tight clothes.

It’s about understanding shape.

Because shape creates definition.

And definition helps us see ourselves again. #

I didn’t work this hard to be hidden.

And neither did you. ❤️

Style has Volume™.

Most women have never been taught how to “read” their clothes.

Low-volume style often feels effortless. Simple. Understated.

You’ll usually notice:
• softer color combinations
• simple silhouettes
• fewer accessories
• minimal visual detail
• clean lines

Nothing is competing for attention.

And for many women, that feels exactly right.

When life is busy, overstimulating, or demanding, low-volume clothing can feel easy to reach for. Comfortable. Familiar.

There’s nothing wrong with that.

The goal isn’t to dress louder.

The goal is to understand what your clothes are communicating.

Because style has volume.

And low volume is just one setting on the dial.

Take a look at your closet 👀

Do you see low-volume pieces?

Or is your entire wardrobe living there?

Tell me below: do you think you’re LOW, MEDIUM, or HIGH volume?

Last night we welcomed a small group of women to learn more about the mission behind Dress for Success San Antonio.

One of the things I love most about volunteering in the boutique is watching women reconnect with themselves in real time.

You can see the shift happen.

A woman walks in carrying stress, exhaustion, uncertainty… and little by little, something changes.

She stands a little taller.
She smiles more.
She starts to remember who she is.

People often think it’s “just clothes.”
But when a woman feels seen again, it impacts how she walks into interviews, conversations, opportunities, and ultimately her future.

That’s why this work matters.

I’m grateful to support an organization that is helping women rebuild with dignity, confidence, and community.

The staff is a small but mighty team of four and many thoughtful volunteers working behind the scenes to make it happen.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and continues to support the mission. 💜

If you’re a woman in midlife, I can almost guarantee you’ve thought one of these things before:

“How do I look polished without trying so hard?”
“How do I dress my body?”
“How to dress comfortably without being frumpy?”
“How do I create presence?”
“How do I look elegant instead of outdated?”

I hear these conversations all the time.

Women buying clothes because they’re cute… and then they get home and the emotional pull is gone.

Standing in front of closets full of clothes and somehow still feeling frustrated.

Trying things on before an event and thinking:
“Why does none of this feel right anymore?”

And after a while, it becomes exhausting.

Not just financially.
Mentally.

Because the cost of staying stuck starts adding up:
✔️the wasted purchases,
✔️the frustration,
✔️the second-guessing,
✔️the feeling of never quite landing on yourself.

Then eventually something shifts.

They stop wanting more clothes… and start wanting clarity.

That’s usually when women find me.

This is why I teach Style Volume™ and strategic style. Because once you understand what actually works for you, getting dressed feels a whole lot easier.

You feel steadier.
More clear.
More like yourself again.

Some women feel best in simple, clean outfits.

Some feel most like themselves with color, contrast, and bold details.

Most women aren’t struggling with style because they “don’t know fashion.”

They’re struggling because they haven’t identified their style volume yet.

Low volume isn’t boring.
High volume isn’t too much.
The goal is alignment.

This is one of the concepts inside my Style Decoder™ framework.

Tell me, are you LOW, MEDIUM, or HIGH volume?
