Before you buy more ads, check the evidence locker.

Website form fills.
Missed calls.
Facebook DMs.
Google Business Profile messages.
Quote requests sitting in one cursed inbox.

Most small businesses do not have a lead problem first.

They have a “where the hell did the lead go?” problem.

Here’s the quick test:

Can you see every new lead in one place?
Do you know who owns each one?
Can you tell how fast the first response happened?
Do you know which leads turned into booked calls, quotes, or money?

If the answer is no, buying more traffic is just feeding the mystery machine.

Fix the response path before you increase spend.

The ads are not magic. They are a flashlight.

Sometimes they just show you where the bodies are buried.

Your ad budget probably isn’t “not working.”

It’s getting murdered after the click.

Bad page.
Vague offer.
Form asking for a blood sample.
Tracking that says “trust me bro.”
Follow-up slower than a county office printer.

Meta gets blamed because Meta is the loudest room in the house.

But if the leak is on the page, the ad is just paying to expose it faster.

Want me to look for the obvious leak? Comment or DM **LEAK**.

If your ads are sending people to a page that makes them hunt for the next step, you do not have an ad problem yet.

You have a lunch menu problem.

Too many choices.
Tiny phone number.
Mystery button.
A form asking for someone’s life story before you’ve earned their email.

Before you raise the budget, fix the page:
1. One obvious offer
2. One obvious button
3. One reason to trust you
4. One follow-up path that does not depend on “I’ll remember later”

If you want me to spot the leak, comment or DM `LEAK`.

Your Meta ad didn’t “fail.”

It bought the click.

Then your landing page asked the lead to do a paperwork obstacle course, explain their life story, decode your offer, trust a page with no proof, and submit a form that looks like it was built during a lunch break in 2014.

That’s not an ad problem.

That’s a post-click mugging.

If you want me to look for the leak before you keep feeding the machine, DM or comment LEAK.

Your ad didn’t “fail” if the leak happened after the click.

That’s the part a lot of small businesses don’t want to look at.

The Meta ad got blamed.
The agency got blamed.
The algorithm got blamed.
Mercury probably got a citation.

But the real crime scene is usually the page after the ad:

No clear offer.
No reason to trust you.
No proof.
No next step.
No follow-up when somebody actually raises their hand.

Paid traffic doesn’t fix that. It just invoices you faster.

Before you scale ads, check where the money is escaping.

Comment or DM `LEAK` and I’ll point at the obvious one.

Your landing page shouldn’t feel like an escape room.

If someone clicks your Meta ad and has to solve a puzzle before they know what you do, what it costs, why they should trust you, or how to take the next step…

That’s not “conversion strategy.”

That’s just a tiny hostage situation for your ad budget.

Quick leak check:
1. Is the offer obvious in 5 seconds?
2. Is the next step painfully clear?
3. Is there proof before the form?
4. Does the page match the ad promise?
5. Can you tell which leads came from which ad?

If not, fix the page before you blame the campaign.

DM or comment LEAK if you want me to look at where the click is dying.

Your Meta ads might be fine.

Your “after the click” might just be a crime scene.

Most wasted ad spend doesn’t die in Ads Manager. It dies when somebody clicks, lands on a page that explains nothing, sees no proof, hits a form with too much friction, then gets followed up with three business days of silence.

Then everyone blames the targeting.

Before you buy more traffic, check the leaks:
- Can a stranger understand the offer in 5 seconds?
- Is the next step painfully obvious?
- Is there proof near the decision point?
- Does tracking show what actually happened?
- Does follow-up happen before the lead forgets you exist?

If you want a second set of eyes, comment or DM `LEAK`.

Before you blame Meta, check the boring stuff first.

Most “bad ad performance” is just your budget getting mugged after the click:

1. The offer is vague.
2. The page takes too long to explain itself.
3. The CTA sounds like homework.
4. The tracking is lying or missing.
5. Nobody follows up fast enough.

That is not an ads problem.

That is a revenue path problem wearing an ads costume.

If you want a quick second set of eyes, DM or comment LEAK and I’ll tell you where I’d look first.

Your Meta ads probably aren’t “not working.”

They’re just being asked to drag a dead body uphill.

Bad landing page.
Vague offer.
No tracking worth trusting.
Follow-up that happens sometime between “later” and “never.”

Then everybody stares at the ad report like the algorithm committed the crime.

Before you spend more, find the leak.

Comment or DM **LEAK** and I’ll point at the expensive part first.

Your Meta ad probably isn’t “not working.”

It might just be driving people into a page that immediately makes them suspicious.

Quick leak check before you blame the targeting:

1. Does the page repeat the exact promise from the ad?
2. Can someone tell what you do in 5 seconds?
3. Is there proof above the fold?
4. Is the next step painfully obvious?
5. Does the form feel like a commitment ceremony?

If any of those are missing, your campaign is basically paying strangers to inspect your weak spots.

Comment or DM “LEAK” and I’ll tell you where the money is probably escaping.
