I think this FB post speaks for itself. If you don't have warning signs up before these big freezes, you run the risk of having an uninformed tenant forgetting to take precautionary steps to keep those pipes from bursting.

Spend a little on signs or a lot on plumbers. Your call. :)

What's in a name?

It's not a trick question. We all know what our name is. It's how we're identified. There's nothing mystical or magical about that. Most of us like to hear our name. We like to be recognized. Have you ever been approached by someone and they call your name; and you're not really sure who they are or how they know? Yet, it's a good feeling, right?

I've been experimenting for several months by wearing my name badge everywhere. I usually have it on for meetings. But I kept it on, when I was pumping gas, going to the store or the pharmacy, out for lunch or dinner. And I noticed that everybody was addressing me by my name. It made me feel really good. As I notice others name badges, I will always call them out by name; as if I've known them forever. I have to say, the instant rapport that is generated can be a powerful thing. Folks, it breaks down barriers. No second-guessing. No awkwardness. It's nice.

But I noticed something else. Not only was it an icebreaker; it also typically generated questions. "What is Splash Branding" is almost always the first question. "Well, I'm glad you asked" and the conversation goes from there.

Name badges have a purpose. I've found they have more than one. So, why am I typing this post? Because I can offer you custom formatted name badges for you and your company. Hi folks. It's been a while. Yes, I know. I know. I'm horrible at social media. But; we've got a few things going on. We are working hard on getting as many customers taken care of in the 1st quarter of 2019. With continued tariff threats looming; we're expecting price increases for 2nd quarter 2019.
