With the rise of AI and bootleg shirts out there (no judgement), I saw it time to make my own. In the past when money was scarce and looking at a screen or through a viewfinder felt soul crushing, I would walk into the kitchen and grab a cereal box, cut a stencil and a box knife and spray a design on the inside of an old shirt (take a look at slide 5) and the instant pride in the imperfection of the image would bubble up, making me believe that no matter my position in life I can create. That feeling reminds me of the right now, they are 2 games back with nothing but the courage to go forward. SA from the moment I have moved here has felt like the land of misfits, but the people and the place have imprinted on me the spirit of Rasquache (something out of nothing) as a way to live life.
