I’ve been figuring out my new mom schedule and learning how to work my business in the little nooks and crannies of my day.

Right now, pumping time has actually become one of my work windows. 🤱💻

20 minutes here.
30 minutes there.
Answer a few messages.
Follow up with a lead.
Do one small task.

That’s it.

You don’t always need more time.

Sometimes you just need something flexible enough to fit into the life you already have.

If you’re a busy nurse, mom, or professional thinking, “I could never fit something else into my schedule…”

Labor Day hits different when you realize…

You can be grateful for your job AND still want more freedom. 🤍

More time with your family.
More control over your schedule.
More income without constantly trading hours for dollars.

I spent years working hard and doing what I thought I was supposed to do.

But eventually I started asking myself:

“Is this really how I want my life to look forever?”

That question changed everything.

Today, I’m grateful for the work that got me here… but I’m even more grateful that I started building something that gives me options.

Because working hard is admirable.

But creating a life you actually have time to enjoy?
That matters too.

Still getting used to this whole mom life… 🤍

1:55 AM — Nursed + fed Hana 👶
2:30 AM — Washed bottles + pump parts 🍼
2:33 AM — Got a notification that I got paid from my online business 💸
3:00 AM — Pumping while answering new lead inquiries 📲

My days — and nights 😂 — look completely different now.

I barely have time to work on my business the way I used to because right now, so much of my attention is on Hana, feeding, pumping, washing bottles, and figuring out this new rhythm of motherhood.

And yet… my business is still working in the background.

The systems are still running.
The automation is still doing its job.
People are still finding me.
And I’m still getting paid.

And moments like this make me so grateful for the older version of me who decided to start when she did.

Because this is exactly what I was building for.

Not so I would never have to work…

But so I could create a life where work didn’t always have to come before the things that matter most. 🤍

I know so many hardworking nurses and moms who are quietly looking for something different.

Something that could help them create more time for their family.

Travel more.

Be more present with their kids.

Have another source of income.

Or simply give themselves a way out of a situation they know they don’t want to stay in forever.

But here’s the part people don’t always want to hear…

Very few are willing to do something different long enough to create a different result.

We can wish for more time.
We can wish for more freedom.
We can wish our circumstances would change.

But nothing changes if nothing changes.

At some point, you have to ask yourself:

What am I willing to do today to create the life I’m secretly wishing for?

Because the version of you living that life someday…

might be really grateful you started now. 🤍

My office looks a little different these days… 🤍

Quality time with Hana, soaking in these newborn moments… while my business keeps working in the background.

A few years ago, I wanted to build something that gave me more time freedom—not just another job that needed me every minute of the day.

And now, my “office” for the last few weeks has been this recliner… feeding my baby girl, cuddling her, and being fully present. 🥹

The business I built before becoming a mom is still running in the background.

This is the kind of freedom I was building for. 🤍

Mom life is BUSY right now… but my business is still running. 🤍

Between caring for our newborn, sleepless nights, pumping, feeding, and everything happening at home… I’m so grateful I built a digital business that doesn’t require me to be “on” 24/7.

And waking up to direct deposits from our digital business while my focus is on my family? 🥹

So grateful for the flexibility.
So grateful for the extra income.
And so grateful I started when I did. 💕

I used to think being strong meant holding everything together.

The plans.
The responsibilities.
The problems.
The outcome.

But trying to control everything can leave you exhausted.

This season is teaching me that letting go does not mean giving up. It means accepting that I can do my best without carrying the weight of everything I cannot control.

Sometimes strength looks like pausing.
Asking for help.
Changing the plan.
Protecting your peace.
Taking life one day at a time.

The lesson: You do not have to have everything figured out to keep moving forward.

Take the next step. Take a deep breath. Let that be enough for today. 🤍
