Here’s a fun fact for my author friends! My book marketing course is currently free to join!

It’s me, hi 👋🏼 I’m the (only) colleague, it’s me.

All jokes aside, being a one-woman show is TOUGH work some days.

I miss the camaraderie and friendship that comes along with a team. The loneliness can really get to me some days.

There’s also a lot of pressure. Knowing the entire business depends on your output cause anxiety and overwhelm.

My goal is to grow my team, but until that day comes I’m going to keep showing up the best I can for my clients and help them get their books into the hands of more readers.

Back to work on Monday morning and immersing myself into the messaging and planning for one of my VIP session clients 🤘🏼

What does this look like?

➡️ Creating Amazon copy direction (in this case I’ve written out a suggested description)
➡️ Creating social media content ideas
➡️ Coming up with unique email acquisition and book promotion strategies
➡️ Outlining a timeline and content ideas for email newsletters through launch
➡️ Developing fun ideas for how to effectively engage the community this author has built

There’s a lot that goes into my VIP sessions, but there has to be in order for my clients to feel confident and clear about what steps to take in their book launch.

If I’m being honest I struggle big time with imposter syndrome as a business owner.

It’s been a big blocker for me and something I’m working hard to get over. After all, I teach my clients to do the same 🫣

But emails like the snippet I’m sharing here are a good reminder that what I’m doing is making a difference. It reminds me that I know what I’m talking about, and the time I’ve spent in my field and the knowledge I have to share is valuable to others.

If you’re like me and struggle with self-doubt, I hope this can be you’re reminder that you are smart, you are capable, and you have value to share.

In San Diego for the week and had the privilege of an in-person coaching session with !

Over the past couple of years Yigal has helped loosen my grip on a lot of fears and limiting beliefs I’ve been holding on to, and unlock my potential as an entrepreneur and business owner.
