Sharing some of my most recent work for Within Inc on their LinkedIn page. Their CMO and I work together to create authentic, intensely human content that speaks to the viewer. The company itself is a tech company in the Silicon Valley but they want their social media to revolve around sharing human stories and their company’s culture.

This specific set of slides was inspired by one of my favorite phrases: There Is No Tiger. Swipe to learn what exactly that means to me.

I read something on LinkedIn today that recommended creatives in my industry make a folder on their desktop full of little snippets of positive feedback from their clients so you can refer back to the messages when you’re feeling challenged, unworthy, out of your league, overwhelmed, or just overworked. I like that idea.

Even the smallest messages like these make my whole day. I don’t do it for the positive feedback, but it doesn’t hurt 😉

The Growth Mindset is paramount to improvement over time. The Growth Mindset doesn’t obsess over the prize, it obsessed over the process. There is so much beauty in the work, the grind, the pursuit. You CAN learn to love this feeling. I learned to love hard work from my career in Athletics but it’s not something we are born with. We are born to pursue life’s necessities and pleasures: water, food, s*x, warmth, safety, play. But we can train our Dopamine systems to love the work.

This is my interpretation and understanding of multiple episodes of the Huberman Lab Podcast - an amazing publication from a Stanford Neuroscientist.

I am excited to share my first mini project with Within Inc where we focused on driving home company values by telling a relatable, engaging and emotional story about human nature.

The trends are clear: audiences appreciate brands who humanize themselves. This is how we are practicing authentic marketing!

I have clients in varying industries. I pride myself in being able to adapt and provide specialized service, no matter what they’re selling. One thing I know for certain, every account could benefit from cohesive, artistic, fun brand photography!

‼️There’s more to life than stock photos y’all! ‼️

(don’t worry, I know we might all need to use stick photos sometime 😉)

My formula for success has been: consistent branding made possible by on theme photography, posting more than twice/week, thoughtful and compelling captions, outbound engagement with local community and industry leaders, use of Reels on IG and of course some trusty hashtags.

So that’s why self employment feels deeply satisfying to me!

Part of my adult healing efforts have included learning more about ADHD and critically thinking about my experience as a child and young adult with this neurological condition. After struggling to feel capable and intelligent for so long, it is so refreshing to embrace my super power. My passion is a superpower. My ability to hyper focus is a super power. My ability to connect and share is a super power.

It’s time that nuerodivergent people stop feeling inhibited. We aren’t less capable, we just don’t always fit into the mold designed for typical brains.

Well that sounds… daunting. Don’t let this star from scare you. Let it motivate you as a business owner to be proactive and find social media solutions that work for you! For some, that might mean asking your niece for help creating a page and for other that might mean seeking the help of an expert in the industry to either advise you or take the task of running your accounts completely off your hands.

Times are changing and our collective acceleration towards digital takeover can be terrifying or exciting. I love working with local businesses and I want to make sure they’re not left in the dust. There’s a place on social media for every business, big and small.
