On rough days, quitting smoking can feel impossible.

The Hawai‘i State Department of Health worked with Rescue Agency to create “Rough Day," which connects people who live in Hawai‘i to the Hawai‘i To***co Quitline to help them develop a plan to avoid to***co use, especially when they’re experiencing stressful moments that might trigger use.

Quitting isn't easy. It's our job to motivate adults to access professional support during the roughest moments in their quit journey.

Being a teenager can be stressful, especially when they’re feeling lonely, isolated, or like they just don’t fit in.

California Department of Public Health worked with Rescue Agency to create “Connection Doesn't Have to Be Perfect,” which showcases the positive power of community and connection for everyone, especially for LGBTQ+ teens living in rural areas.

As health communicators, we know that the right mental health support and a plan to manage stress can make a huge difference in a young person’s life.

Naloxone is a life-saving nasal spray that can reverse an opioid overdose. But it can’t help anyone if it's left at home.

Prevention First and the Illinois Department of Human Services Division of Behavioral Health & Recovery worked with Rescue Agency to create “Always With Me,” which uses a repeating refrain, “phone, wallet, keys
naloxone” to remind young adults to bring it with them when heading out the door.

As health communicators, we want to help everyone remember that getting naloxone and carrying it can protect your friends from an overdose.

Most parents don’t think their teens will try drugs.

But when half of street pills tested contain fentanyl, there’s no better time to talk about the risks than right now.

Our commercial, “Talk While You Can,” which health departments can license as part of our Ready-Made Media Campaign called Let’s Talk, is designed to encourage parents to start talking about fentanyl and give them the tools to have effective conversations.

As health communicators, we know that teens whose parents talk early and often about substances have a lower risk of substance use and overdose.

“The biggest question we ask in public health is: why aren’t teens listening? It’s not because they’re not interested; it’s because we haven’t yet convinced them that the information is relevant to their lives.”

In his keynote at the Champions for Virginia Foundation for Healthy Youth - VFHY Champions for Youth Summit, Rescue Agency Founder, President, and CEO Jeff Jordan introduces a new messaging framework grounded in research with thousands of teens across five states that activates their refusal skills the moment they’re offered drugs.

Discover how to create messages that increase their risk perception about drug use and stay with them at the exact moment a substance is offered.
