Today was just the first of many economic blackouts moving out of Oregon. Our partner works tirelessly to uplift and protect farmworkers and immigrants facing incredible hardships: discrimination, unequal wages, and now ICE raids and the separation of families.

It's almost like America forgot who really makes this country run.

Last week, Mixte attended the Vision y Compromiso conference and loved every second of it. From meeting promotoras who are committed to doing this important work in a time when our communities are under attack to hearing from leaders from , , , , and , it was all the joy and hope we needed.

The Oregon Senate Republican Caucus made it clear this week that they intend to reform and weaponize sanctuary laws in a move that is intentionally and openly anti-immigrant.

"There’s a lot of misconception that transgender issues are kind of a boutique issue, or that only LGBT people need to worry about it. And that’s just not true," said Alexander Petrovnia.
