Aloha my IG peeps! It's been a long time since I’ve posted. I've been busy closing up my online shop, so definitely hit the link in my bio to save on some cute apparel!

Creating my apparel line has been a very fun process and through that, I've managed to catch the attention of other businesses to assist with their merch needs. My SM has also attracted companies that need website help, social media help, as well as writing wine articles for publications. And for those that know me personally, you know my 9-5 job of selling wine is my full-time gig.

The wine scene in San Diego has really taken off since COVID and keeps me busy. My little side hustle has been so much fun because I love design but the e-commerce apparel biz takes more than one person in order to blossom into a flourishing company and that's not what I want to do. It's become an EXTREMELY competitive space. So, I'll just stick to my little Etsy shop and doing custom orders!

I haven’t posted in a while because I've been busy! I LOVE designing logos and this one was so much fun to do. I was going for a 70's boho SoCal surf vibe. I'm self-taught, it was one of the things I learned during the pandemic.

Before I created my own logos, I was working with a digital artist. One of the things she told me was, "You have one of the best eyes for design out of all my clients." I was touched! I've never been a painter, sculptor, or any of that but have always been creative. I truly fell in love with the digital space.

This has a hidden watermark so don't think about copying...hahaha!

It's time for me to take a break! I am so busy with work for clients that I do not have the time to put into what Wine Expressions needs right now. I am finding myself working when I should not be and doing less of what I love to do in my spare time, surfing!

My shop is still open, I just won’t be adding new inventory at this time.

Seriously! Syrah needs your love. Us wine professionals never understand why Syrah sales aren't higher than what they are. Next time you're at a Steakhouse, give one a try and you'll see how it pairs better with a big chunk of red meat. I don't even eat beef but I know this from working at several steakhouses. I do eat lamb and it's another perfect pairing.

I'm not against Cabernet Sauvignon, I just don't find it to be as interesting and versatile as Syrah.

It's National Cheese Lover's Day! If you watch my stories, you see that I love to make cheese. It's a learning curve but nothing tastes better than fresh homemade cheese without all those preservatives.

Each week I make mozzarella because pizza night is a weekly thing in my house. I also like to make goat cheese, feta, and this weekend will be making paneer. Paneer is a cheese made in India and one of my fave dishes is Paneer Tikka Masala!

I plan to shoot a video one of these days showing how I make mozzarella...I am just bad at being on the other side of the camera but people have been asking.

This apron is available - it's customizable to put your name on it! You won't ever see me cooking without an apron, even in casual t-shirts. I need a place to stash tools, and my phone, and keep my clothes clean. Eat some cheese today! 🥂🧀

You say it's your birthday! 21! The retro font I used to create this top is so fun. I recently received a review on my website where a customer wore this out on her big night. She said other people in the bar thought it was a trip and sent her drinks! It's not every day you get free drinks, especially these days when a cocktail can cost over $15!
