Incoming! Michelin-trained Pastry Chef and Chocolate Master , known from Netflix’s Bake Squad, the Hotel Bel-Air, and Park Hyatt Aviara among other notable kitchens, is opening his first-ever namesake bakery !

Opening late summer 2025, will serve the world’s finest pastries including his signature pull-apart cinnamon rolls, buttery croissants, savory quiches, delicate macarons, and more. All his creations are crafted with the precision, creativity, and French technique that have made Chef Christophe an international standout.

Designed by Sangita Wahi of We Design, the 1,200-square-foot patisserie café will offer an inviting space to slow down, sip coffee, and savor true pastry artistry.

This will be another delicious addition to the culinary scene that’s making North City a can’t-miss foodie destination.

Meet Lelana Brinkworth, our amazing Chemistry PR intern.

She grew up in San Diego and recently graduated from SDSU with a background in marketing, content creation, and event production. She’s worked on everything from restaurant branding to live event campaigns, and now she’s bringing that experience to our team.

Lelana is half Thai and says her love for food, travel, and family runs deep. She’s also “extremely” Type A and her days are planned down to the second. It’s a great trait, especially in PR and marketing, and we’re here for it!

When she’s not working, she’s likely exploring San Diego’s food scene or at a concert (or searching for tickets to the next one). We’re lucky to have her on the team.

Say hi to Ali Inzunza, the newest face on the team (although she’s been with us for a minute)!

Ali supports clients across commercial real estate, non-profits, retail, and hospitality. She leads event planning, social content, and sponsor partnerships for BOMA San Diego, helping strengthen the organization’s local presence. She’s also helped support this year’s event booking TV segments and securing ink for our favorite charity event of the year.

Before joining our team, Ali worked on public engagement campaigns across San Diego. She helped coordinate community events for SANDAG’s Bike Anywhere Day, supported outreach for the County of San Diego, and worked on local favorites like the Switchfoot Bro-Am and OB Street Fair.

A graduate of CU Bolder with a degree in Business Marketing, she spent a semester abroad in Barcelona and has been to 16 countries so far with favorite memories like riding camels in the Sahara and sharing tapas in Spain. Outside of work, she’s into yoga, pottery, farmers markets, beach days, and finding the best iced vanilla latte in town. Got a rec? Drop it in the comments!
