In the height of the civil unrest, we struggled to find an avenue to affect change authentically. Sean Morgan Horton, our videography partner, feeling the same, provided the solution with his vision to amplify Black voices. Sean recruited our agency The Collective SD to help build and launch Hear Us Here in two weeks time. Below is the trailer that is illustrative of the tenor and significance of this project.

The Juneteenth site launch and social channel activation will be followed by eight to ten interview-driven, topic-specific videos to be published every few weeks.

This series intends to start a dialogue, define understanding, and propel the movement to build a more equitable and inclusive San Diego and society.
