Enjoyed designing this flyer to fundraise and build a memorial for local Japanese American veterans.

As we observe Veterans Day 2023, the San Diego JACL would like to take a moment to express our deepest gratitude to all the veterans who have selflessly served our nation. Your courage, sacrifice, and dedication have not only protected our freedom but have also shaped the course of history. May this Veterans Day bring you the recognition and appreciation you deserve.

In honor of our Japanese American World War II Veterans who are buried in Miramar National Cemetery, the San Diego JACL is raising funds to donate a stone memorial currently being designed by award-winning architect Dennis Otsuji. Had a last minute request to design a presentation for a special guest speaker at a private school. Turns out that the presenter was Douglas Emhoff, the husband of Vice President Kamala Harris.

to designing this flyer for the California Foodservice Instant Rebates Program. This is 1 of 7 launch pieces that I did - the whole project spanned 100+ drafts, lol. A majority of the revisions were simple text changes (vs design changes) - thank goodness
