Sitting at the top of Le Méridien Salt Lake City, is a celebration of the West. Built by cowpunchers and broncobusters, the West has long been a destination for travelers seeking new land, new opportunities, and new life painted in the dusty hues of adventure— built on hard work and hospitality.

Inspired by “The Rambling Kid,” Jack Van Ryder, an American icon, cowboy, and Western artist whose soft, pastel-colored paintings captured the essence of life and leisure, we built a name, story, and visual identity for this rooftop experience that honors the indelible balance of rugged and delicate, toughness and hear, home and horizon that one can only find between the landscapes of The Mountain West.

Hospitality done right can transport guests through the looking glass into a world of experiences rooted in local authenticity designed for them. One South Church rises from the heart of downtown Tucson like civilization’s answer to Sentinel Peak. As the city’s tallest building, its facade is a natural centerpiece, reflecting a panorama of Tucson in rose-tinted glass. At the right vantage point, you can see all the way to the Catalinas or watch the sun sink into the western range. We partnered with and Opwest Partners to turn Tucson’s iconic tower into a modern hotel.

To build a hospitality brand and experience that reflects Tucson’s character and community spirit, we looked toward one of its longest-standing advocates, Dr. Leo Kent. The visual identity pays homage to Leo Kent, his heart for people and nature, and his dedication to the community— creating signature moments for gathering in a modern oasis.

A personification of all that makes Tucson great, pays tribute to the generations before while giving guests a place to rest and reflect in the heart of downtown. Because when you immerse in the reflection of Tucson’s true character, you’re bound to find something new and wonderful about yourself.

Since its inception, PEDAL has catapulted onto the eBike scene, making a name for itself as a challenger to some of the current category leaders through its sustainable vision. We collaborated with the Venice-based PEDAL team to relaunch their eCommerce platform by putting purpose, design, and storytelling into every aspect of the experience.
