clearly I just can’t seem to make this platform a priority. but if that bothers you, you’re obvs not my people. 🤣 I am team this year. 🖤 wrapping up a few final projects this week and then hoping to have some time to share all that I’ve been up to in 2020, because while I’ve been quiet on the internet — the workload has been anything but slow. 🙏

wowowow if you saw my stories last week (or was it the week prior? 🥴) you know I’m working through ‘The Artist’s Way’. this came from the realization that I’ve always created for other people in an effort to monetize my creativity. while I really do feel so lucky to do what I do... I also wonder what I’d create if it were just for me? and that’s what I intend to find out re: this journey. one thing I’ve discovered already is that I in NO WAY want to contribute to this “hustle” mentality that has become so trendy in the last few years for women solopreneurs (and especially for stay at home moms). I do not and will never believe you need to send emails every day or have a following of thousands, or attend every conference to be successful. while branding does make those things easier... I would never ever ever pressure anyone to feel like they have to join in on the hellish game of comparison that is social media. I’m working through these values now... and going to start pushing more of my clients to listen to their own voice instead of the thousands yelling at them. 🖤

on another note, I hope everyone is taking their recovery seriously this week. election stress is no joke, folks. 🥴🆘 excited to feel a little hope for the first time in a long time + more motivated than ever to keep learning and acting towards a better world for all. 🌎 🖤 snap from our election week escape — probably the last excursion for a while given these crazy covid numbers. take care of yourself everyone!! 😷
