Hey Everyone, the rumors are spreading fast so here it goes…. 😮‍💨 TOMORROW, Thursday, December 18th will be our LAST OPEN MIC FOR MUSICIANS at The Collective.

There have been multiple factors as to why Jeremy and Krystal are choosing to part ways with this location.

We have been a team for 15 years, running successful open nights for musicians in San Diego together at RT’s Longboard Grill, PB Cantina, The Local PB, The Rabbit Hole, and The Collective.

At the end of the day it comes down to what we think is in the best interest of the musicians, and the level of respect we all deserve as entertainers, hosts, sound engineers, and promoters.

We understand this is short notice, but yes, Thursday December 18th will be Jeremy and Krystal's last open mic at The Collective in PB.

We have multiple other location offers and will be announcing our new home soon. Thank you for supporting our open mic night, wherever we go.

Highlights from Thursday November 6, 2025 during open mic at .

Join us at on Thursdays, 6:30pm sign ups. When you come in, purchase a beverage (alcohol or NA) from the bar or food, and the bartender will give you a ticket with a number on it. That’s the order in line you’ll stand during sign ups. You’ll still get to choose your time slot we just want to be fair and put you all in order as you arrive. (That’s a new policy we started). If you don’t want to purchase a beverage or food, you can still perform but you stand at the end of the line.

Music goes til 11pm so spots are limited. Doors are at 6, we recommended arriving early.

🎤 Jeremy Miller of Millertime Music is your host and sound guy! Remember** Jeremy does the audio recording of the entire night so if you enjoy your set, you can purchase the mastered version from him.

🎨 Krystal Dyer will be painting live and her art is available for purchase.

🍺 Your bartender is Kristi, ask her about our drink specials for the night! 2 for $5 beer shots! And more!

😃 Our venue is 21+ and musicians that want to perform, are welcome to sign up at 6:30p.

✍️ We have a unique system for musician sign ups… doors are open at 6p and when you come in, head to the bar and purchase a beverage or food item, tell the bartender you are playing open mic and they will give you a ticket with a number on it. 🎟️ This ticket guarantees you a spot in line for sign ups. IT IS NOT YOUR SPOT ON THE LIST!! You still need to get in line and sign yourself up at 6:30pm. If you miss lining up on time, you will be skipped. Once you get to the sign up sheet, you can sign up for any available time frame you want.
