I met Lidia last week. She lost her husband Leo to su***de 2 months ago - he was 26, the same age Kiela was when she took her life. This is a good woman. She’s proud. She wants to finish trade school to become an aviation mechanic. She’s a badass! But she’s also in a crippling depression from the grief of losing the love of her life. And she is now the sole provider for 5 children. Quite honestly, all the programs that are supposed to help people in her situation are failing her.
