As a graphic designer, the best feeling is seeing your designs in the wild 🤘

Road cycling has become a fun and challenging physical sport to keep my mind and body in tune with my mental and physical being.

This special kit design was created to commemorate a late dear cycling friend known to multiple cycling clubs in San Diego, Rey Whitney.

The patterns are reminiscent of the artistic statues he would take selfies next to during his rides.

The map was his usual route from Plaza Bonita in National City to Coronado Island.

The colors of the kit represent the color of his bikes, while the red is in remembrance of his iconic helmet.

I couldn't forget his sunglasses either as a touch he will still be looking out for us, sweeping the group from the back.

In American traditions, there are Sweet Sixteens. In Filipino traditions, it's been a Debut custom to celebrate a daughter's coming of age after 18 years.

I was given the honor to design a Cinderella-themed birthday invitation and accompanying Seating Chart for a special debutante 👸

She is blessed to be loved and surrounded by family and friends. A lot of planning and efforts go into a Debut Ball, her parents wouldn't have it any other way for their only daughter 🥰

So I am grateful for their trust in my design skills to help them make their daughter's wish come true!

modeling the fresh custom tribute hoodies I designed in memory of Uncle Rey.

Uncle Rey was our "sweeper" at the end of our cycling rides, making sure everyone got back to each point safely.

He made me feel safe riding because I was generally one of the slower riders.

Seeing "Rey's Loop" will keep his memory alive. Rest in Peace, Beast.

Although we start our San Diego mornings with "June gloom," it's nice to get out and enjoy the sunshine.

Whenever I ride my bike up to Mt. Soledad, I'm reminded of the veteran specials event pages that I've designed.

When I started my graphic design business in April 2009, I gained 6 years of design experience from the corporate world. Rising from the economic crisis, I found a need to connect small business owners with their target audiences. One day, a friend asked if I could design her wedding invitations.
