Digital Impact And Digital Impact & is a full service communications firm in San Diego ready to help you develop result

Digital Impact & is a Downtown San Diego production studio and digital agency helping socially responsible businesses, non-profits, and elected officials tell stories that matter. We do two things: produce professional content (podcasts, campaign videos, documentaries) and run the paid and organic campaigns that put that content in front of the right audiences. We operate as an extension of your c

ommunications team, building the infrastructure your organization needs to turn content into measurable results.

Most video content that gets made never gets seen, because production and distribution usually live in two different buildings. We put them under one roof. 🎬

Digital Impact & is the strategy half: distribution, channels, the plan behind the footage. DIA Live Studio is where it gets made.

One studio, under two years: 100+ hours of client content, 3M+ views, 42K+ subscribers. 📈

This reel is a quick look at what that adds up to. Sign up for a free consultation at dialive.studio. 🤝

Six words we hear from almost every first-time visitor: "I didn't know this was here."

Canon cinema cameras in 4K. A live-switched multi-camera control room. Professional studio lighting. Prep and production coordination on staff. All of it near Downtown San Diego.

Come take a look: dialive.studio. What's the project you shelved because the production seemed out of reach?

A laptop camera propped on books. Window light. A conference room.

That's how plenty of San Diego nonprofits make their video. Not because they don't care about quality. Because they didn't know a professional alternative was within reach.

Then they see themselves on a monitor at our studio in Mission Hills, and the reaction is almost always the same: "I didn't know this existed here."

The organizations doing the most important work deserve production that matches their mission. That's why this studio exists.

What happens to your video six months after delivery?

A production house hands you footage. A program hands you a cadence: quarterly strategy, monthly sessions, platform-specific edits, publishing, reporting. 📅

One-off productions age and disappear. A program compounds. Early episodes drive discovery. Later episodes convert. The audience grows because the publishing never stops. 📈

Next time you read a proposal, look for the line where it ends. If it ends at file delivery, you were offered a deliverable, not a program. 🎬

What do most clients expect when they walk into the studio for the first time? A conference room and a tripod.

Here's what's actually waiting before a session starts: 🎬
Cinema cameras locked in position.
Teleprompter staged.
Professional studio lighting set.
Control room live, ready to switch.

The reaction is almost always the same: "I didn't know this was here."

"I don't have time to make videos."

Every executive says it. Fair enough.

But here's the math. CEO video updates pull 3-5x the engagement of text posts. That carefully written leadership message? Most of its audience scrolled past.

One 90-minute session a month. Four weeks of executive presence, every platform. You show up. You talk. We handle the rest. 🎥

Produced at DIA Live Studio.

Where did your last three customers find you before they reached out?

We ask every new client this question. The answer is almost never cable.

"Our audience is older" used to end the digital video conversation. Then we pull the numbers: 80.7 million households have cut the cord. Only 34% still pay for cable, down from 88% in 2010. That assumption now describes a shrinking minority.

Here's what we keep seeing: the belief usually reflects how an internal team consumes media, not how their stakeholders actually do.

Pull up your last three inquiries this week and trace where each one started. The answer changes the conversation.

84% of consumers say they want more video from the brands and organizations they follow.

That number doesn't leave much room to debate whether video matters.

The harder question is whether the video you're producing is worth watching. Wanting more video and wanting more low-quality video aren't the same thing. The audience is signaling demand. Quality determines whether they stay.

How often are you publishing video right now, and is it keeping pace with what your audience is asking for?

Most San Diego organizations have never been inside a production facility like this. They walk in expecting a conference room. What they find instead is a full studio floor, a lighting grid, Canon cinema cameras, and a live switching setup that runs broadcast-level production.

The most common thing we hear when a client walks through the door for the first time: "I didn't know this was here."

That's exactly why we built it. San Diego doesn't need to send work to LA.

I ran the math on a session booking last week, and it reframed everything.

$1,575 for a podcast episode at DIA Live Studio. Sounds like a line item. Then you apply the waterfall.

One session produces 15 to 20 platform-optimized pieces. 🎥

$1,575 divided by 15 = $105 per cinema-quality asset.
At 20 pieces, you're under $80.

Now ask what your last DIY video investment actually cost per piece. Factor in staff hours, idle equipment, and the months of output you weren't proud of. 📊

The sticker price isn't the number that matters. The cost-per-asset is. ✏️
