Hey Creatives! 👋 Trying to pin down your client’s messaging guidelines? These are 3 of our favorite ways to jumpstart the process.
The goal is to cut out the fluff and get to the heart of what your client’s primary unique selling points are, what sets their voice apart and how they’re going to consistently communicate in their brand voice :) Ex: Try to get past the cookie cutter answers like “We are a nice brand that sells cool stuff….” And help your client to figure out what they do and don’t want. Ex: “Shopping sustainably is hard and can make people feel like they’re constantly failing or being judged. Our brand wants to make sustainable shopping easy and our voice is always like a kind best friend: we’ll share the inside scoop on cool sustainable products, but NEVER make you feel judged or dumb along the way.” 💛
