We are seriously bummed about the announcement that CCA will be closing after the 2026-27 academic year. Volume has always had a close connection to this amazing school: Both Adam and Eric have taught or are currently teaching there, a good chunk of our staff over the years has been CCA grads, and we’ve even been lucky to do various work for the school and the Wattis Gallery occasionally. This is a staggering loss on so many fronts. 😞😢😤

The Volume-designed “The French Laundry, Per Se” book by made a cameo in episode 5 of the new season of . (Maybe had something to do with that?) The deep cut by Lou Reed and John Cale that kicked off the episode was a nice touch, too.

Wow, what a night! We were so jazzed by all the friends and family who came out for the “Past as Prologue” opening at the Transamerica Pyramid. This was a magical project and thanks to all the collaborators: and the rest of the team at the Eames Institute; Mike and his team at ; and and of that gave us an A+ brand foundation to help streamline the process.
