My client Ray Hom is a web developer and enjoys making movies in his spare time. In the past, I have consulted with him and his partners on how to dress their actors. Ray has been wearing the same types of clothes for work and play since high school but now needs a different wardrobe for all the new and exciting activities in his in his life. He was recently invited to speak in Vietnam at a major computer convention and plans to travel more in the near future. I advised him to wait for January's post holiday sales. We went shopping yesterday and scored big time! Many of the items he purchased were discounted 50% or more. We shopped at only vintage and consignment stores to find clothing to match the artsy styles and Mad Men look Ray hoped to replicate. We started at noon, hit 3 stores and headed home by 3PM. Ray purchased 2 suits, a vintage sport jacket, 4 neckties, 1 leather vest, and 2 casual shirts, all for a total price within his initial budget. A few pieces need to be altered and then Ray will be ready to step out in style!
