Cripps first performed at Luther Burbank Center for the Arts with Santa Rosa Symphony at 13yo (and again at 16yo), soloed with The Baroque Sinfonia at 16yo, Played in The Sugar Bowl Halftime Show at 17yo and performed with the U.C. Berkely Symphony, also at 17yo. Joshua Cripps' first band was Tin Circus. He co-created and co-composed the material with Judah Nagler (The Velvet Teen). This group was voted Best Band by Bohemian Reader's Choice in 1999. In 2002, Joshua did Voiceover work for a small film called "Gender Equality" by Alison Geitner-Clifford, which won Best Short Film at Toronto Film Festival. His involvement with Radio includes DJing EDM on Public Radio Monterrey/Santa Cruz (2001-2002). He has been interviewed on KRCB (Sonoma County, 2016) for Arts and Entertainment work in Norcal, and been interviewed/featured on BrokenFM for his band Tin Circus.
