Moving millions of passengers efficiently starts with something most people never think about until it's missing: clear, intuitive wayfinding.

From 2018 through 2024, Priority Architectural Graphics partnered with Studio L'Image and LC General Engineering & Construction, Inc. to support the modernization of the Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) wayfinding system. Our team fabricated and installed signage designed to improve navigation, enhance clarity, and create a more intuitive experience for millions of passengers traveling through the system each year.

Working within an active transit environment required precision, consistency, and careful coordination to ensure new wayfinding elements integrated seamlessly with existing station architecture while meeting the performance standards expected of critical public infrastructure.

Projects like this highlight the value of strategic signage. When executed effectively, wayfinding not only helps people get where they're going, but also improves operational efficiency, strengthens the user experience, and supports the long-term success of the built environment.

A rewarding partnership with Studio L'Image and LC General Engineering & Construction, Inc. to deliver a signage program that helps keep one of the Bay Area's most important transportation networks moving.

Meet Kira!

Kira recently joined Priority Architectural Graphics as a Junior Graphic Designer and Admin. She graduated from UC Berkeley in May with a degree in Psychology and Media Studies, bringing a unique combination of creativity, communication, and analytical thinking to the team.

Outside of work, Kira enjoys hitting the slopes, yoga, baking, and traveling whenever she gets the chance. She's also a fan of binge-worthy TV shows and movies, with La La Land being her favorite. When she's not designing or exploring new places, you'll likely find her listening to Noah Kahan on repeat.

We're so glad to have you on the team, Kira! 🎉

We’re exploring the possibilities of e-ink technology, the same technology used in eReaders, as a flexible and cost-effective solution for modern signage. Using NFC connectivity, content can be updated directly from a smartphone without hardwiring, constant power, or costly digital display installations.

From conference room signs and employee identification to event graphics and wayfinding, the opportunities are endless.

A special thank you to Seek Ink for providing these product samples and giving us the opportunity to explore innovative applications for electronic ink displays in the signage industry.

At Priority Architectural Graphics, we’re always looking for smarter, more adaptable solutions that help our clients save time, reduce costs, and simplify updates.

Signage doesn’t get expensive because of the signs themselves. More often, costs rise when signage decisions are pushed to the final stages of a project. As turnover approaches, sign counts increase, code requirements surface, material selections evolve, and installation conditions become more complex, creating costly changes when timelines are already compressed.

The best way to control signage costs isn’t to cut corners. It’s to define the scope early. When developers align design intent, code requirements, and signage needs from the start, projects benefit from clearer budgets, fewer surprises, and a smoother path to turnover.

An evening of baseball, great food, and even better company at Oracle Park!

Our team had a fantastic time at Oracle Park watching our SF Giants for Baseball Night hosted by the Asian American Contractors Association. Great food, great company, and a great opportunity to connect with colleagues and industry partners outside of the jobsite.

Thank you to the AACA for a wonderful evening!

The best signage feels like a natural extension of the architecture.

For the Burlingame Community Center, Priority Architectural Graphics partnered with Group 4 Architecture, and BHM Construction to deliver a comprehensive signage package that enhances both the building’s identity and visitor experience. The dimensional exterior lettering creates a strong, welcoming presence that complements the facility’s contemporary design, while the interior signage program provides clear, accessible navigation throughout the space.

We take pride in partnering with architects, contractors, and owners to deliver signage programs that are thoughtfully executed, seamlessly integrated, and built to elevate the finished project.

A rewarding partnership with Group 4 Architecture, BHM Construction, and Burlingame Parks & Recreation.
