Americans are spending more time listening to podcasts, which means businesses need to learn how to get their message out through audio storytelling.

Through compelling conversations, Hearst StoryStudio helps businesses transform industry knowledge into engaging audio content people actually want to listen to.

Having created over 70 podcasts, Audio Manager Monti Rossetti shares his expertise on what goes into making a great podcast, why brands need to be sharing their knowledge in an audio format and how StoryStudio has the advantage to make sure the ideal demographic listens to your podcast.

“When you create a podcast, it gives you a level of credibility,” Rossetti said.

After receiving over 167,000 votes from more than 29,000 readers for their favorite businesses, we are excited to announce the winners of SFGATE Best of Bay Area in June.

We'll share the winners and finalists at a special event at the Chase Center, on SFGATE and in a special print section that will run in the Chronicle. We continue to celebrate last year's winners, like Club Fugazi, which won Best Family Night Out and Best Live Theater categories in 2024 and 2025.

SFGATE Girl Melissa Cho visited the North Beach venue to see what goes into its recent acrobatic show, "Dear San Francisco." The performers even gave Cho a taste of the high-flying life by tossing her in the air.

Stay tuned to find out who took the top spot in your top categories.

The San Francisco Chronicle won a Pulitzer Prize today for explanatory journalism for its home insurance investigation.

“Burned,” written by reporters Megan Fan Munce, Susie Neilson and Sara DiNatale with the support of more than a dozen colleagues investigated how major home insurance companies leave California homeowners unable to rebuild after catastrophic wildfires, even when they have what they thought was full coverage.

“Our goal is to be the best regional newsroom in the world, and we are grateful that these results are validating our efforts,” said Chronicle editor Emilio Garcia-Ruiz.
