About Us: Oscar Printing is a 36-year-old family-run print shop located in the heart of San Francisco’s SOMA district. Our ideal candidate would have excellent customer service and organizational skills, a sense of urgency, a great attitude, and a fun personality/sense of humor. About You:
Do you have an eye for design? Great attention to detail? Do you love working with creative people who are passionate about their work? If you are an enthusiastic individual, happy to be the first point of contact for our customers and provide them with personal and unique service. You will be able to anticipate our client’s needs and offer insightful and innovative solutions as you help them navigate their print projects.
The successful candidate for this role with have a strong command of the company's customer service policies, and be well-trained in product knowledge and be able to offer quick and accurate assistance to customers. You will partner directly with outside sales representatives, clients, design firms and print brokers and coordinate projects from conception through completion.
Communication: Demonstrated excellent written and verbal skills including first-class phone etiquette and professional acumen. You will interface with both clients and vendors and learn to engage in a consultative partnership on both sides.
Team Oriented Problem-solving: As a proactive, collaborative and creative thinker, you will develop and maintain detailed spec sheets and schedules for your team. You will need to be aware of the challenges or obstacles that team members may be facing and anticipate workarounds to minimize the impact on project costs and timeline.
Time management: Our clients depend on us to meet deadlines and manage expectations and we take the utmost pride in our reliability. One stage of a project often relies on another stage meeting its deadline or maintaining its schedule. This kind of coordination makes it vital that project coordinators keep tight schedules.
Requirements
BS/BA preferred
1-2 years of project coordination experience in a dynamic environment
Effective time management and organizational skills to independently prioritize workload and meet deadlines
Diligent and persistent with follow-through
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Dropbox and Google Suite
Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud a big plus
Interest in graphic design and production
