Last week, Pathway announced their $500M valuation, with $30M in total funding and was featured on the Nasdaq MarketSite Tower in Times Square.

Alongside the raise, Pathway published ARC-AGI-1 results for its new model, BDH-CQ. The model sits in a cost-accuracy range that no one has reached previously. Not by scaling up, and not by making transformers cheaper.

Pathway is building for the future of AI with post-transformer architecture and models that imagine intelligence with no ceiling.

FieldAI has been named to Business Insiders list of the 25 most promising robotics startups of 2026.

The article highlights FieldAI’s approach to building AI systems that help robots operate in unpredictable, real-world environments, working with customers including construction firms and data center operators.

Pathway announced a new benchmark using its post-transformer BDH-CQ model. BDH-CQ achieved 29.5% pass@2 accuracy on the public ARC-AGI-1 evaluation set at an inference cost of $0.0007 per task, roughly 11x cheaper than GPT 5.6 Luna (Low), which scored 34.2% on the same benchmark.

FieldAI CEO Dr. Ali Agha joined Brian Heater live at Automate in Chicago on the Automated podcast to talk about "robot hallucinations," and why a wrong output costs so much more when a multi-ton machine acts on it instead of a chat window.

Ali's work spans MIT, Qualcomm, and NASA JPL, plus the DARPA Subterranean Challenge, where his team sent legged, wheeled, and flying robots into unmapped environments with no GPS or comms. That shaped the idea at the center of FieldAI: once a robot leaves the lab, edge cases are the environment.

He also gets into why designing for safety from day one is what gets robots into real customer workflows, where they generate data and improve.
