I have always lived in the in between. The area where public praise may not always come but the work is immaculate and impactful. I love the process and the journey. The space where our wildest dreams that were once so far way are now routine. Better yet not routine, but the standard. Nothing is easy and not without work and of course consistency. I’ve been in a season of pain, loss, and sadness but today I’m reminded these things too shall pass. Thanks to those people…you know who you are…that keep me uplifted. Tonight was a DREAM as the kids would say! Tonight was a reminder to never stop and keep going! Forever humbled and grateful for God’s grace in all things. Cheers to and the movement we have created that is . PSA…we are fu***ng killing it! IYKYK.

I had the privilege of giving the commencement speech to the 2023 City Honors High School graduating class. My message was about consistency. Pursing your dream with such focus and in ways that allow you to rise in front of those that saw you as small…if they even saw you at all. Keep your head down, pray, and outwork everyone. It’s already yours…go get it!

Never bet against the kid! I work harder than most, I see the things you don’t and me and are building something with and around that is becoming the STANDARD.

It has always been hard for me to accept accolades. The reason is it’s never about me but rather the thing I’m doing with the amazing people I’m doing it with. I’m realizing Dustin and I are doing something special and the genius or whatever the f**k you call it can’t be denied. We will continue to be consistent, build in silence (actually build) and elevate everyone around us without fan fanfare.

Communicating for so long has been a challenge. Not because I didn’t have the words in my brain but that s**t could never come out of mouth. I had / have a stutter has a kid…had speech therapy and all of that. Still it was this paralyzing fear of using my voice. Today, that no longer exist. Not just because will hit me with the “ you got it big dog” lol…but because I’ve found my purpose and it allows me to be the best version of me. Every now and then I have to reboot mid conversation😂. But I’m better than I’ve ever been.
