Week 2 of summer break, and I’m still learning how to slow down. 💛

As a teacher, mom of four, and someone who is always thinking about the next thing, slowing down doesn’t always come naturally.

Tonight, this sunset stopped me in my tracks.

Then God painted the sky like this… 🌅

A gentle reminder that not every moment needs to be rushed.

Sometimes the best thing we can do is pause, breathe, and appreciate what’s right in front of us. ✨

The ASL classroom survived.
Barely. 😂

No students.
No grading.
No chaos.

One more “Ms. Wilson…” and I was about to disappear for the summer early. ✌️

Day 2 morning ☀️

We started with an aerobic + floor workout and it felt so good 💪
I’ve been a teacher… but this was a whole new experience as an instructor 👀
I was a little nervous at first, but I did it 😄
And honestly I loved it
There’s something special about this community, coming together, moving, and just having fun 💛

Still smiling from yesterday 😍💧

We visited a water store here in Arizona and it was SO cool seeing everything in person.

Watching the machines, learning more, and even being able to fill up our water bags right there — such a fun experience ✨

Moments like this remind me why I started learning more about water in the first place.

Simple things… but they feel big 💛

Somewhere in the school year…
and I’m already counting 😅

6 Mondays left… I can do that.

I love being a teacher and showing up for my students,
but I’ve also been thinking more about my time, my energy, and being present at home too.

Trying to stay grounded and take care of myself along the way.

Some people only see one side of you.

For me…
I’m a teacher.
I’m a mom.
I’m a wife.
And I’m building something for myself too.

And then there’s this side.

Honestly, I enjoy learning new things —
even the ones I didn’t think I would like at first.

It pushes me out of my comfort zone,
and reminds me I can do more than just one role.

first day back from spring break…
and I’m sitting here like… something feels different

I love being a teacher. I really do.
I love my students. I love my family 💛

but I’ve been thinking more about my time… my energy… my life outside of work

Sometimes I still laugh when I think about this.

I’m a teacher.
I’m a mom of four.
Life is usually busy, loud, and full of responsibilities.

But somewhere along the way I decided to try something new and started building an online business too.

I never imagined that “work” could sometimes look like this… just WiFi, showing up, and learning something new along the way.

It hasn’t been perfect, but I’m grateful I said yes and kept going.

Proud. Grateful. Progress. 💛

This check represents consistency, learning, and choosing to keep going even when things felt uncomfortable.

Teaching is still my 9 to 5, and I’m proud of the work I do.
At the same time, I’m slowly building something online because my dream is more flexibility and more time with my family.

It didn’t happen overnight.
It’s still growing.
And I’m thankful I stayed open to learning something new.
